What is a Read-a-Thon?
The i58 Read-a-Thon is a 30-day fundraising challenge where readers choose what they want to read, invite friends and family to sponsor them by the page or with a set donation, and read throughout the 30-day challenge.
At the end of the Read-a-Thon, participants receive a prize based on the amount they’ve raised.
Why Read for the Nations?
Every page you read can become HOPE IN ACTION for someone who has been forced from home.

Through Read for the Nations, the books you love can help provide practical care and support for refugees who have been forced to leave behind their homes, communities, and so much of what was familiar.

The funds you raise help meet basic needs, create meaningful connections, and remind refugees that they are seen, valued, and not forgotten. By simply reading, you can help bring hope, dignity, and care to people rebuilding their lives far from home.
